The guys at Giant Freaking Robot got word from Variety that the next JJ Abrams Star Trek flick may have Benicio del Toro playing the main villain. And if previous rumors hold true, that would have him playing a freaking Klingon. Sounds good to me.

Since Klingons make no appearance in the first film, I’m excited to see what Abram’s brand of Klingons would look like. Remember how different Klingons looked when comparing TOS Klingons and the films/TNG Klingons? Yeah, I’m expecting even more awesomeness.
